Bailey Branson, a 5-foot-9 outside hitter from Missoula, Mont., signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter of intent to
play volleyball for the University of Montana Western, head coach Katie
Howells announced today.
"Bailey is an outstanding athlete who understands the importance of hard work," Howells said. "She knows how to push herself not only on the court but in the classroom as well. Bailey will be a great addition to our program."
Bailey earned second team all-conference honors and honorable mention all-state honors this year. In the classroom she maintains a 3.5 GPA and was selected to the honor roll, the dean's list and received academic all-state honors.
"Montana Western has a good academic program with Experience One," Branson said. "The girls on the team as well as the coaches were extremely welcoming."
Branson will graduate this spring from Sentinel High School and plans to major in pre-professional health. She is the daughter of Jayme and Laura Branson.
