Coach Bob Green of Montana Tech has announced that the Orediggers have added three transfer students to their 2010 roster.

Bill Carney - Sophomore - Tight End - 6'3" 240 - Rupert, ID (West Hills CC/ Coll. of S. Idaho)

Bill Carney comes to the 'Diggers after sitting out the 2009 season while attending the College of Southern Idaho.  Carney played the 2008 season at West Hills Community College in Coalinga, CA. "Bill is the kind of body that we have had success with at the tight end spot," Coach Bob Green commented.  "He has shown the ability to be an effective blocker in the run game, but also to greatly contribute as a receiver.  He should add tremendous depth to a position that was hit hard by graduation."

Jordan Kellington - Freshman - Wide Receiver - 5'10" 200 - Mill Creek, WA (Everett CC/Jackson HS)

Jordan Kellington joins Tech's football program after spending the Fall semester at Everett Community College.  "We are very happy to have been able to add Jordan to our roster.  He gives us another option at receiver with play-making ability."  Kellington attended Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Washington, where he enjoyed tremendous success as a wide receiver and defensive back.  His team won a conference championship and reached the state playoffs in his senior season, while he garnered All-Conference honors and gained over 1,000 yards of total offense.

Brandon Lott - Junior - Defensive Line - 6'0" 250 - Lancaster, CA (Antelope Valley College/Antelope Valley High School)

Brandon Lott transfers to Tech after playing two years at Antelope Valley College in California, where he garnered First Team All-Conference and All-State honors both seasons.  Lott attended Antelope Valley High School, where he was an All-State selection as a senior.  "Brandon will play on the inside of our defensive front. He is very effective against the run and an exceptional pass rusher," Green said of Lott.  "His motor runs all the time at a very high RPM level."

All three of these new Orediggers are on campus and will participate in winter conditioning drills and Spring football.
