WHITEFISH, Mont., Feb. 1, 2010 - Brandon Brown of Montana Western was
named Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Brown is a 5'10"sophomore guard from Tacoma, Wash. Montana Western downed Montana Tech 86-77 on Saturday.
Brown scored 20 points in the win over Tech. He hit 57 percent of his field goals and 77 percent of his free throws (11 of 14). Brown was cited for making baskets and plays in key situations in the Bulldogs' win.
Also nominated: Clay Greenland of Montana State-Northern, L. J. Jones of the University of Great Falls, Nate Richardson of Rocky Mountain College and Michael Stockton of Westminster College.
