Rocky Mountain College won the Frontier Conference golf title and a trip to the women's NAIA national tournament May 25-28 at Meadowbrook Municipal Golf Course in Rapid City, S.D.

Rocky downed Lewis-Clark State 602-634. The Bears shot a 294 after the first 18 holes for a new conference record and a 25 stroke lead. Rocky senior Teresa Schlomer set an individual record in the same round with a 4-under-par 68.

Rocky advances to the national tournament for the 12th straight year. Carroll defeated MSU-Northern 336-375 for third place.

The conference went to a single-elimination bracket, similar to basketball, where the No. 1 team played the No. 8 team in the opening round. The four winners then advanced to the semifinals with the two emerging from the semis advancing to a 36-hole championship match. The first two rounds were 18 holes.
