GREAT FALLS, Mont. - University of Great Falls women's basketball coach Bill Himmelberg has announced the signing of Morgan Freeman of Richland, Wash. to a NAIA/Frontier Conference letter of intent today. Freeman will join the Lady Argo basketball program and the UGF community in the fall of 2010.

"Morgan is a great addition to our team," Himmelberg said. "She will bring a great work ethic as well as an innate ability to score and rebound. Morgan will not only make us better on the court, but she will enhance our university as a whole."

Freeman, a 5-foot-10 forward, averaged 10 points and nine rebounds per game this past season for the Falcons. She was also an all-conference honorable mention selection, competing for e Columbia Basin Big Nine Cascade Division.

"I am looking forward to the experience and getting to know my teammates, coaches and professors, as well as the Great Falls area," Freeman said.

She is a 2010 graduate of Hanford High School.
