Montana State-Northern head coach Shawn Huse and senior guard Shaun Tatarka both reached career milestones in the first two weekends of Frontier Conference play.

Tatarka reached the 1,000-point milestone in his team's 63-62 win over the University of Great Falls on Jan. 6. Tatarka scored 26 points and buried seven 3-pointers against the Argos, but it was his sixth triple, which came at the 13:30 mark of the second half, which will be remembered. That shot put Tatarka into the 1,000-point club at MSU Northern, a club which he and only 16 others now belong to.

One week later, on Jan. 14 the Lights downed the nationally-ranked Montana-Western and with the win, Huse earned career win No. 200 at Northern.
