Head Montana Western football coach Ryan Nourse has announced the signing of 10 seniors to Frontier Conference/NAIA letters of intent. The group includes seven student-athletes from Montana, two from Idaho, and one from Washington.

"We are very excited about this group of young men committing early to Montana Western," Nourse said. "We have addressed several areas with just this first group of signees, especially at offensive line and linebacker, where we feel Joe Coker and AJ Wilson of Helena Capital are two of the best linebackers in the state of Montana. All these young men will have a positive impact on Bulldog football and Montana Western."

AJ Wilson: LB, 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Capital High, Helena, Mont.: Wilson was named Montana AA Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He is also a four time academic all-state selection. Wilson was part of a team that won the 2011 State Championship. Wilson is also an East-West Shrine Game Selection.

Joe Coker: LB, 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Capital High, Helena, Mont.: Joe was named Montana AA Co-Defensive MVP after his senior year as well as academic all-state. Coker was part of a team that won the 2011 State Championship. Coker was also selected to play in the East-West Shrine game. He was also an all-state selection in 2010 and academic all-state as well.

Rusty Christensen: OL,6-foot-2, 250 pounds, Butte, Mont.: Rusty is a two time all-state selection at center for the Butte high Bulldogs. Christensen was also a three year starter for the Bulldogs.

Ben Sulser: DB, 6-foot-1, 170 pounds, Senior High, Billings, Mont.: Sulser played on both sides of the ball for the Senior High Broncs under his dad and Head Coach Marc Sulser and earned all-state honors as a senior. Sulser was a 2012 East-West Shrine game selection as well as a state champion wrestler at 152 lbs. last year.

Anthony Gugliuzza: WR, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Glacier High, Kalispell, Mont.: Gugliuzza was an all-state selection as a kick returner and wide out after his senior season. He is also an East-West Shrine Game selection.

Dilan Starkel: DB,5-foot-9, 170 pounds, Beaverhead County, Dillon, Mont.: Starkel was an all-state selection for the state champion Beavers. He had five interceptions and scored 15 TD's in his senior year. Starkel is an alternate for the East-West Shrine Game.

Dylan Trevor: OL, 6-foot-2, 245 pounds, Helena, Mont.: Trevor was named as an all-state selection this past season. He is also an alternate for the East-West Shrine Game. Trevor has also been named academic all-state the past three years.

Jacob Carpenter: OL, 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, Horseshoe Bend, Idaho: Carpenter was named as an all-state performer on both sides of the ball the past season. The dual sport athlete is currently averaging 25 points in basketball also.

Tyrell Penner: DL, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, Salmon, Idaho: Penner was an all-state selection for OL and DL. He was also named the Mountain River Conference MVP.

Dalton Engle: LB, 6-foot, 205 pounds, Coupeville, Wash.: Engle was a two time all-conference selection at LB. He was also named an all-conference punter his senior year.
