Players from Montana State-Northern and Rocky Mountain College were
named Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week: Drew Hedrick, Rocky Mountain College,
5’10”, 190 lbs, senior, quarterback, from Billings, Mont. In Rocky’s
21-9 win over Minot State, Hedrick was 22 of 36 for 296 yards, one
touchdown and one interception. He also picked up 45 yards on 11
carries. Other players nominated Travis Browne of Carroll
College, Keali’I Perbera of Montana Western and Saxton Shearer of
MSU-Northern.
Defensive Player of the Week: Stetson Koffman, MSU-Northern, 5’11”, 209 lbs, sophomore, linebacker, from Helena, Mont. In Northern’s 18-10 win over Dickinson State, Koffman had five solo tackles, four assisted tackles and one tackle of loss (-2). He had an interception returned 22 yards for a touchdown and a fumble recovery with a 17-yard return. Also nominated Mac Gordon of Carroll College, Brandon Pack of Montana Western and Skyler Wipplinger of Rocky Mountain.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Luke McKinley, MSU-Northern, 5’11”, 198 lbs, sophomore, kicker, from Great Falls, Mont. In Northern’s 18-10 win over Dickinson State, McKinley was 3-3 in field goals including a school record 47-yard field goal. He was 1-1 for P.A.T. Also nominated, Chris Wells of Montana Western and Casey Worth of Rocky Mountain.
