Beth Sager, who was an all-state guard at Shields Valley High School as a senior and walked on to the Montana State University team for one season, has signed with the women's basketball program at Rocky Mountain College.
The 5-foot-7 Sager, who has been attending MSU in Bozeman the past two years, will transfer to Rocky in the fall and join the Battlin' Bears.
She redshirted with the Bobcats during the 2006-07 season and wasn't a part of the MSU program this past season.
"Beth is an outstanding person and teammate," said Rocky head coach Brian Henderson. "She plays hard and fast all the time. She is going to bring a lot of athleticism to our team. She is going to be a great asset for us."
During her senior year in high school, Sager averaged 15.6 points and five steals per game. She was selected as the Shields Valley Athlete of the Year.
Sager received all-district and all-conference honors in basketball as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was also all-state as a senior.
"She is one of those players that never take a day off," said Henderson. "That's going to make you better Monday through Thursday, as well as Friday and Saturday."
Sager also competed in track and volleyball at the Class C school in Wilsall.
