Helena-MT. Carroll College head volleyball coach Maureen Boyle announced the signing of Spokane Falls Community College standout Ashlee Lupfer. The Spokane native has two years of eligibility remaining and will continue her career for the Fighting Saints this fall.
Lupfer is a 5'10" outside hitter and was team captain the past two season at SFCC. During her career at SFCC Lupfer racked up the programs record for digs in a career as well as leading her team in kills over the past two seasons and finishing her career with 750 total.
"Ashlee comes to Carroll as a very experienced and seasoned player," Said Boyle. "She is a complete volleyball player and her experience is obvious."
Lupfer was a member of the honor roll for all four years while at University High School, and was a member of the Presidents honor roll the past two years at SFCC. Ashlee will enter Carroll with a 3.72 gpa.
"I chose Carroll because it is an academically prestigious school," said Lupfer. "The campus is beautiful, I love the other girls on the team, and Carroll's athletic programs have a great reputation. I just couldn't see myself living, going to school, and playing volleyball anywhere else." Lupfer added.
Ashlee is the daughter of Scott Lupfer and Tracy and John Graham. Ashlee plans to continue her education in psychology and would like to pursue a career as a psychological profiler after completing her career at Carroll.
"We look forward to her ball control adding a lot to our offense," said Boyle. "Her knowledge and anticipation should improve our back court defense." Boyle added.
