Brandon Buford to join Griffins after returning from LDS mission.

SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster Griffins have signed former Park City prep star Brandon Buford to an NAIA Letter of intent. Buford is currently serving an LDS mission but will join the team for the 2008-09 season.

During his senior season at Park City, Buford led 3A in scoring with his 23.1 points per game average. The 6-4 guard also grabbed six rebounds per contest on his way to being named First Team All-State. He graduated with a 3.93 G.P.A. and was a member of the National Honor Society all four years.
