Geoff Payne, Westminster College, a 6'1" senior forward from Sandy, Utah was named the men's basketball player of the week. 

Westminster College stayed unbeaten with two wins over the weekend. The 13th ranked Griffins beat Vanguard University 74-48 and No. 9 Concordia of California 89-81. Payne averaged 17 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He was 14 of 19 from the field (74 percent).
