Billings, Mont. – The No.13 Montana Western Bulldogs (20-6, 10-4) fell to Rocky Mountain College (14-12, 7-7) 80-72 Saturday night at the Fortin Center.

The Bulldogs fell in close game to Rocky. Rocky started off the game hitting shot after shot from beyond the arc, and finished connecting on 14 three-pointers. The Bulldogs were able to weather the storm and cut the lead to just one heading into the half.

The Bulldogs managed to take a three point lead with 14 minutes remaining in the second half. But were unable to build upon it, let alone maintain it, as Rocky stormed back and held a 10 point lead for most of the last 10 minutes of the game.

The loss moves the Bulldogs back into second place in the conference, with four games remaining before playoffs begin.

Dom Robinson (Tacoma, Wash.) led the Bulldogs with 15 points, and had three assists. Kooper Kidgell (Billings, Mont.) had 13, Zaccheus Darko-Kelly (Missoula, Mont.) scored 11. Riley King (Missoula, Mont.) pulled down 11 rebounds.

The Bulldogs will host Lewis-Clark State College on Feb.16 at 7:30 p.m.
