Tempe, Ariz. - University of Great Falls junior Gina Kowolchuk successfully defended her tournament medalist honors at the 2017 Frontier Conference women's tournament, played on Arizonia State's Karsten Course. Kowolchuk shot a final round 71 for an 18-stroke victory over the second place tie of Eryn Ellis of Rocky Mountain and Allison Kadinger of Lewis-Clark State. Click here for third round scoring

Lewis-Clark took the team title over regular season champion Rocky Mountain. The Warriors placed four golfers in the top ten of the tournament.

Kowolchuk earns an automatic berth to the women's national championship. LCSC earns the league's automatic team bid. The women's NAIA national will be played at the PGA National Course in Palm Beach Springs, Fla.
