Rocky Mountain College women's basketball coach Brian Henderson has announced the signing of Shannon Hildreth of Miles Community College.
Hildreth, a 5-foot-7 guard from Riverton, Utah, averaged 13 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for MCC this year as a redshirt freshman, helping the Lady Pioneers to a 22-8 record.
"I think she is really going to help us," Henderson said. "She comes from a very good program."
Hildreth scored a season-high 25 points against Bismarck State and had a double-double against North Dakota Science with 17 points and 10 rebounds. For the season, Hildreth shot 39 percent from the field and 40 percent from the 3-point line.

"Shannon is a girl who can flat knock down a shot, but she also has a lot of intangibles in her game," Henderson said. "She has a very good understanding of the game."
Hildreth will have three years of eligibility at Rocky. She suffered a knee injury five games into her first season at MCC and received a medical redshirt.
