Carroll College senior forward Andy Garland has recently moved to No. 2 on Carroll's men's basketball all-time scoring list. He now ranks behind Bill Pilgrim (2,515 career points). Andy surpassed J.D. Solomon (current women's assistant) at 1,848 to move into the second spot on February 9 when he scored 28 points against Lewis-Clark State.

Montana Western won their only game of the week when they defeated rival Montana Tech 64-55 to raise their record to 21-7. The victory raised Montana Western's record to 21-7 overall, gave them a one game lead in the conference standings with one week to play and moved them up one position in the latest NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25. Western is now ranked 14th.

Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2011 volleyball academic all-conference team today. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.
